MILLBROOK, Ala. (May 22, 2000)—Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. Chairman Tom Dattillo and two college football coaches will be among the featured speakers at the Alabama Tire Dealers Association´s annual convention July 14-15 at the Grand Hotel Marriott in Fairhope, Ala.
The convention will begin at noon on Friday with a golf tournament at Rock Creek Golf Club in Fairhope.
The evening will feature a tailgate party, complete with pickup truck and goal posts, and speeches from University of Alabama football coach Mike DuBose and Auburn University football coach Tommy Tuberville—a rarity that these two rival coaches will appear together.
On July 15, Mr. Dattillo will speak at the ATDA´s Past President´s Breakfast, which will be followed by a business meeting and seminar. The group also will hold the Hank McCafferty Memorial Scholarship Fund drawing for a $10,000 cash prize.
