Manning to speak at ITRA's Expo LOUISVILLE, Ky.—Archie Manning will present the keynote speech at the International Tire and Rubber Association's World Expo, which runs May 1-3 in Nashville, Tenn.
Mr. Manning, who quarterbacked the New Orleans Saints from 1971 to 1985, will speak at the general session, 8:30-9:30 a.m. May 2 at the Opryland Hotel and Convention Center.
During his NFL career, Mr. Manning set Saints passing records, played in two Pro Bowls and was named the NFL Most Valuable Player in 1978.

N.C. group offers new benefits plan
CAROLINA BEACH, N.C.—The North Carolina Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association is offering its members a new membership benefit called BIZPLAN to help save on taxes.
BIZPLAN, an employee benefit program for small-business owners since 1986, allows for a 100-percent deduction of all health insurance premiums plus 100 percent of all out-of-pocket health-related medical expenses.
Business owners who qualify for the benefit include sole proprietors, partnerships, limited liability companies and corporations, the association said.

SEMA, Aussies form show alliance
DIAMOND BAR, Calif.—The Specialty Equipment Market Association has formed an alliance with the Australian Automotive Aftermarket Association (AAAA) and Trade Fairs Australia to sponsor the SEMA Performance and Technology Section at the Australian Automotive Trade Fair.
The fair will be held in Melbourne, Australia, May 5-7. SEMA's sponsorship of the Performance and Technology Section will allow SEMA member companies to exhibit their new parts and accessories to the expanding Pacific Rim market, SEMA said.
