Roger Ambrosie St. ALBERT, Alberta—Roger Ambrosie, 61, died Aug. 13 in St. Albert.
Mr. Ambrosie founded Trail Tire Service in 1972. He also served as president of the Western Canada Tire Dealers Association in 1991-92 and served on its board for 10 years.
He served on the board of the Scrap Tire Management Association of Alberta.
Mr. Ambrosie is survived by his wife, Zonia, and sons, Grant and Allen, who will continue to operate the business.
Woodrow Singletary
SLIDELL, La.—Woodrow Wilson Singletary, 85, died Sept. 7 in Slidell.
Mr. Singletary founded the Original Tire Store in 1958 in Slidell and operated it until his retirement in 1977.
Mr. Singletary was a member of the American Retreaders Association. He is survived by two sisters.
Levi 'Earl' Barrett
DENVER—Levi ``Earl'' Barrett of Englewood, Colo., died Aug. 14 in Denver.
Mr. Barrett was a vice president of the Reynolds Tire & Rubber Co. and was employed by that firm for 30 years. He also worked as a salesman for Jim Paris Tire Co. in Denver.
Mr. Barrett is survived by his wife, Irene.
