Tire balancing International Marketing Inc. (IMI) has a new, easier-to-install delivery system for its EQUAL Tire Performance product.
The dry, granular polymer formula—which the company claims provides accurate, continuous, maintenance-free balancing for the life of the tread—is now available in a drop-in bag that is placed inside the tire before mounting. As the wheel rotates, the bag breaks apart and EQUAL is dispersed within the tire.
Non-toxic and non-flammable EQUAL can be used on new, retreaded and repaired tires, IMI said, and is available in sizes for many commercial vehicle tires.
