LAS VEGAS—International Tire Expo attendees will have a number of business services available to them for Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week '99, Nov. 2-5 in Las Vegas.
Internet and e-mail access centers will be available at the ITE/Specialty Equipment Market Association shows at the Las Vegas Convention Center and the APAA/ASIA/MEMA show at the Sands Expo Center. Visitors will be able to access or send e-mail and surf the Web at no charge.
To use this service, visitors should consult their Internet service provider or their company's IS/MIS manager to determine how to access e-mail from a remote location.
Other available services include an International Business Center and lounge staffed by interpreters and trade specialists; electronic product/export locators to help buyers find specific products; and business centers that will offer typing, photocopying, printing, incoming/outgoing fax and United Parcel Service pickup and delivery.
RMA, elects board, officers
WASHINGTON—The Rubber Manufacturers Association has filled two directors positions and re-elected five staff officers for fiscal year 1999-2000.
New RMA board members include William Sharp, president, North America Tires, Goodyear, and Daniel Ogden, president and COO, Yokohama Tire Corp. A third director's vacancy will be filled in the coming weeks, the RMA said.
Officers for the fiscal year are: Donald Shea, president and CEO; John Serumgard, executive vice president; Lisa Murphy, secretary and treasurer; Kevin Ott, vice president and Steven Butcher, vice president.
