    Jacks Lincoln Automotive is offering the Guardian line of portable hydraulic hand jacks, service jacks and jack stands in a variety of capacities.

    Six hand jacks are available in 2-, 4-, 6-, 8-, 12- and 20-ton models.

    Also available are 2- and 3-ton trolley jacks, an SUV trolley jack, a 3-ton service jack, a scissors jack and 2-, 3- and 6-ton jack stands.

    Branick Industries Inc. now offers a 9,000-lb.-capacity air/ hydraulic rolling jack. Mounting brackets are available to fit Rotary, Hunter, FMC, JBC and Wheeltronic brand lifts.

    WWT Group Inc. has introduced the Micro SuperJack, a remote-controlled electronic jack powered by a vehicle's 12-volt cigarette adapter.

    Model A-140, 5.5 inches tall, can lift up to 2 tons to a height of 13.3 inches.

    Model A-180, 7.1 inches tall, has a lifting capacity of 3 tons and a maximum height of 16.5 inches.

    Both units have a 12-ft. foot power cord and a remote control powered by 2 AAA batteries. They are constructed of forged steel gears and housed in durable, lightweight aluminum bodies for long life.

    Twin lift

    Chart Industries Ltd. has entered the automotive lift market with Twinn-Lift, a system that lifts two vehicles from a single post.

    Chart said that one twin lift provides a double-bay in 16 feet of space, 20-percent less than with single lifts.

    Twinn-Lift is available in 7,000- and 9,000-lb. capacity units and can be configured to lift an 18,000-lb. truck. The six anchors each have a 50-ton holding capacity, and the unit has an internal oil reservoir for maximum cooling, all-steel construction and is backed by a 20-year limited warranty.

    Twinn-Lift is available with a drive-on unit and scissor jacks, and costs about 15-percent less, installed, than two-post lifts, according to Chart.

    Hex sockets

    ATP, a division of Hy-Tech Machine Inc., has introduced a set of one-piece INHEX driver sockets.

    ATP said the design eliminates many problems associated with two-piece sockets and allows for consistently applied torque in every application.

    INHEX sockets are available in 1/2-, 3/4- and one-inch drive sizes from 1/8- to 1.25-inches or in metric sizes, from 3 to 32 millimeters.

    Fluid changer/cleaner

    BG Products Inc. has debuted the BG PF5 Power Flush and Fluid Exchange System for cleaning automatic transmissions and changing fluid within the transmission.

    The BG PF5 cleans the transmission, flushes out the old fluid installs new automatic transmission fluid in three to seven minutes, according to the manufacturer.

    BG Products said there is no need to monitor fluid levels and no power supply hookup is necessary.

    Air rathet

    Mac Tools has introduced the AR250 Seal Head quarter-inch air ratchet. The AR250 has a slim head that provides more reach and a tight, smooth seal that reduces downtime as much as 90 percent, according to the manufacturer. An under-the-thumb reversal lever simplifies fastener removal.

    The AR250 spins at speeds up to 250 rpm and has an operating torque of 20 foot-pounds at 90 psi. Mac Tools said the unit also has a cushion-style handle to reduce fatigue and a 360-degree exhaust deflector on the handle.

    Brake fluid injector

    Raybestos Brakes has unveiled a new tool for bleeding hydraulic brakes and clutches: the Phoenix Injector.

    The Phoenix is a hand pump capable of directly pumping liquids or air, and can also bleed brakes by vacuum, pressure or bench-bleeding.

    Raybestos claims the Phoenix can bleed a system in as little as five minutes without the need for electricity or compressed air.

    It generates both positive and negative pressures and can be used for testing and diagnosis of other systems, including: cooling, emission control, power steering and transmission.

    Multi-tire changer

    Tire Service Equipment Manufacturing Co. has developed the Cheetah CH-22 Multi-Tire Changer, which handles tires from 4 to 16.5 inches in diameter.

    The CH-22 tire changer also has two center posts: one for bearing-type wheels; one for open type hub wheels.

    Included with the CH-22 is the CH-4 Mongoose Tire Tool. Another accessory is the CH-23 Stand that includes a bead breaker and a leverage bar, and turns the CH-22 from a bench unit into a floor unit.
