Program offers realty discounts SEVERNA PARK, Md.—The Maryland Tire Dealers Association has signed an exclusive agreement with Coldwell Banker to save members money when buying and selling real estate.
MTDA members can receive a 12-percent discount on real estate commissions if they list properties with Coldwell Banker. A special provision in this program rebates 12 percent of the real estate commission a seller pays when selling property in Maryland or other areas in the country.

TRIB to hold tire workshops
PACIFIC GROVE, Calif.—The Tire Retread Information Bureau (TRIB) will conduct in-depth tire maintenance workshops in Carrollton and El Paso, Texas, April 28-29.
The Carrollton workshop will be held at 2711 Nimitz Lane from 9-11 a.m. on April 28. The El Paso workshop will be 9 a.m. to noon the following day at the city's Municipal Service Center, 7969 San Paulo.
Each will feature information on proper maintenance of retreaded and new tires, a tire repair demonstration and displays of retreads. TRIB members in Texas are invited to attend.

ITDRA selects new officers
MERRILLVILLE, Ind.—The Indiana Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association elected new officers during its February convention in Merrillville.
The new officers include: Stu Zurcher of Stu Zurcher Tire Inc. in Angola, president; Larry Farney of Farney's Interstate Tire in Lafayette, president-elect; Barbara Bauer of Bauer Tire Inc. in Spencer, first vice president; Jim Woodruff of Woodruff Tire & Auto in West Lafayette, second vice president; and Jim Stein of Bill's Tire Service in Indianapolis, secretary-treasurer.
