Alignment Hunter Engineering Co. has developed an Automatic Bushing Calculator (ABC) as a feature of its WinAlign' 3.0 Software for Series 411 Aligners.

The company said that the ABC will reduce adjustment time by 50 percent on special bushings used on light trucks with twin I-beam suspensions.

The technician enters data about the current size, position and shape of the bushing and can observe the changes in camber and caster on the screen as adjustments are made. The display shows the mounting template in actual size and the measurements can be frozen while the wheel sensors are removed for bushing installation.

    Compressors

Lincoln Automotive has introduced the Medallion 92 Series two-stage reciprocating air compressor. The company said the Medallion 92 Series includes features such as multi-finned cylinders for maximum cooling and a gasket-free integral cylinder head to prevent blown-out head gaskets,

These compressors also have single-unit (disc-type) valves easily serviced by removing the manifolds and a positive-acting centrifugal loader that allows the compressor to start unloaded for longer engine life.

More than 50 models are offered including electric-motor versions from 5 to 30 horsepower and one with an 11 hp gasoline engine. Accessories such as air-cooled aftercoolers, automatic tank drain and oil level monitors are available.

Iowa Mold Tooling has added two new models to its line of Diamond Air air compressors both of which feature rotary screw compressor technology. The Series 35 has a 35 cfm rating with operating pressures up to 175 psi.

The Series 60 PTO shaft-driven compressor operates up a maximum of 60 cfm with a pressure of up to 175 psi.

The company said both compressors have a compact design and offer constant air flow, eliminating the wait for the system to cycle.

The Series 35 is fully contained with noise-dampening for above-deck mounting. The Series 60 is mounted underdeck between the chassis frame to allow for additional toolbox storage.

    Contact: Iowa Mold Tooling, Dept. TB, 500 Highway 18 West, P.O. Box 189, Garner, Iowa 50438-0189. Phone: (515) 923-3711. Fax: (515) 923-2424. Internet: www.imt.com.

Included are new sizes of 3/4-inch sockets not previously offered by Truecraft.
