Centrum Business Systems Inc. said it has released a software package, shipped for free, that allows smaller dealerships to perform many of the computer invoice functions available from programs costing more than $6,000.
The system processes the first 100 invoices for free. Additional invoice processing can be purchased for $1 per invoice.
For each invoice, Centrum creates a history of the customer's work order, posts accounting and tax information and details inven-tories, labor, payroll and productivity reports.
Users can use all of the modules available with the software, including interfaces to Mitchell and Alldata databases, for free.
