SCOTTSBURG, Ind.—Telephone etiquette and customer relations will be topics of discussion during the joint convention of the Illinois State Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association and the Indiana Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association, Feb. 14-15. The convention and 75-booth trade show, at the Adam's Mark Hotel and Convention Center, Indianapolis, will feature professional speaker Jerry Wilson, who will present two seminars: one on word-of-mouth advertising and the 10 common errors made by auto repair shops; the other on how management's actions, behavior and attitude impact sales.
Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s sales trainer, Mark Jackson, will conduct a seminar on how to win a customer during the first 30 seconds on the telephone.
