A Cocoa, Fla., parks worker uses a pulverizer machine to till Rebound material-a blend of ground tire rubber and compost-into the soil at the Stradley Softball Field. The patented Rebound subsoil amendment is produced by American Tire Recyclers Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla. The amendment is tilled into the ground to a depth of 6 inches to improve the physical characteristics of the soil. ATR recently supplied Rebound to three ballfields in the area.
