WASHINGTON-Exhibitors at the upcoming National Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association trade show, Sept. 5-7 in Atlanta, will have an opportunity to conduct ``Product Info Expos''-30-minute seminars on equipment, products and other information-in mini-theaters set up around the show floor. Exhibitors with two or more booths at the trade show are eligible to participate in the product seminar program, sponsored by the NTDRA Supplier Group.
``These 30-minute hands-on seminars will be a great opportunity to find out more about equipment, products and information from exhibiting companies in a small group, non-sales setting,'' said NTDRA Executive Vice President Phil Friedlander.
So far the mini-expos categories include: emission testing; tire repair; computer developments; the Information Superhighway and the Internet; service vehicle applications and use; tire disposal and recycling; and battery testing.
Other new features for the 1996 show include:
Two free meals for tire dealers and retreaders and their personnel-breakfast on Sept. 5 and lunch on Sept. 7; and
A cash drawing of at least $200 each hour the trade show is open; and
The NTDRA also is encouraging exhibitors to offer ``specials'' on items in their booths.
