Thexton Manufacturing Co.'s Strut Alignment Level (Part No. 447) assures original equipment values after McPherson strut replacement, the firm said. The level is stamped from alloy steel and features a circular bubble level. The tool is placed on a rotor against two studs; then the rotor is turned to align the bubble sideways before the adjustment screw centers the bubble to the current camber angle.
After the strut is replaced, the camber bolt is adjusted to re-center the bubble to the original camber angle.

Ground Force has introduced a line of high-pressure, nitrogen-gas-charged shock absorbers designed for lowered vehicles.
The shocks, which come standard with all Ground Force lowering kits, are specially valved perapplication to assure a precision match to any vehicle, the company said. They also are compatible with most other lowering systems.

The new TRW Inner Tie Rod End Repair Kit from Federal-Mogul Corp. is designed to eliminate the hassles associated with installation of OE-style bushings on 1982 to 1995 General Motors, Chrysler and Eagle passenger cars equipped with center take-off-style rack-and-pinion steering gears.
The kit, HB 1647K, has a steel locking plate, two 2-piece thermoplastic rubber replacement bushings and two metal sleeves.

Petrol-Safe from Petrol-Safe Inc. is a fire suppressant that is effective on petroleum-based fires, including those involving tires, gasoline, kerosene, oil and diesel fuel, the company said.
The nontoxic suppressant, when mixed with water, breaks down the fuel of the fire, as opposed to simply robbing the fire of oxygen, the firm said, preventing re-ignition and explosion.
