The first Lincoln Continental equipped with Michelin MXV4 ZP Zero Pressure continued mobility tires rolls off the line at Ford Motor Co.'s Wixom, Mich., assembly plant March 4. Celebrating the occasion are Horst Klingmann, left, Michelin's vice president of marketing and sales, and Jeff Haller, Wixom plant manager. The MXV4 ZP is designed to run for up to 50 miles after losing air pressure depending on the load, speed and driving conditions. Michelin is the first tire maker to supply a self-supporting tire for a standard passenger vehicle.
