Advantage Lift Systems Inc. said it has developed the first completely portable hydraulic lift system, capable of lifting from 60,000 to 120,000 pounds.
The lift consists of four movable columns, each of which has its own lift cradle, control panel, electro-hydraulic power unit and high-pressure cylinder.
The columns move on three wheels, which retract when a load is applied.
Advantage's Programmable Logic Control allows each cradle to operate independently or synchronized with other columns. The front or rear columns can be operated as pairs to lift the front or back of the vehicle.

The unit removes 99.98 percent of particles as small as 0.1 micron and reduces liquid content to 0.5 ppm by weight.

The ``inhex'' sockets, using a one-piece design, eliminate the bit and set screw allowing for a more consistent application of torque, the company said.

Luster Lace Ltd. has designed a polishing system to shine a variety of round and tubular metal objects, including wheel spokes.
Available in widths of 1/2, 3/4 and 1 1/4 inches, the Luster Lace consists of a cotton cloth impregnated with a cleaner/polish that can be wrapped around the item to be shined.
Pulling the cloth back and forth applies the polish 360 degrees around the circumference at one time.

Equipment Supply Co. has introduced its Mag Wheel Tool model D-1003 for mounting and demounting mag and decorative wheels on center-post tire changers.
The tool features two replaceable polymer inserts that contact the rim lip during rotation to prevent marring and scrapping.
