KENNEWICK, Wash.-Four tire company presidents will field dealers' questions during the Northwest Tire Dealers Association convention and trade show, Feb. 8-9, at the Holiday Inn at the Airport in Portland, Ore. The four presidents-John Lampe, Bridgestone/Firestone Tire Sales Co.; John Fahl, Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.; P. David Campbell, Dunlop Tire Co.; and Lee Fiedler, Kelly-Springfield Tire Co.-will participate in the show's Industry Leadership Forum, moderated by Art Lutz of Lutz Tire Co., who also is a past president of the National Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association.
The convention also will feature Bruno Wessel, a distributor of tire studs, who will conduct a seminar on light-weight studs and the ramifications of Oregon's mandate of their use beginning in November 1996.

OTR dealers to convene in Feb.
WASHINGTON-Off-the-road tire dealers, retreaders and suppliers will be gathering to discuss market trends, new products and business issues at the National Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association Annual OTR Conference, Feb. 29-March 2, at the Sheraton San Marcos Golf Resort and Conference Center, Chandler, Ariz. Tony Berkompas of Berky Tire, Comstock Park, Mich., will serve as conference chairman.
The NTDRA will announce a complete conference schedule later, but topics for the program may include: compounding and applying tread rubber for specific applications; radial OTR tires; software applications; and preparing for a visit from the Mining Safety & Health Administration.

ASTM relocates headquarters
