NEAITD contracts investigator
BURLINGTON, Mass.-In an effort to help members curb internal thefts, the New England Association of Independent Tire Dealers is offering a new member service through a local investigation firm.
The association has negotiated a member discount with Frantz Warner Associates Inc., which will provide a confidential investigation of a company for employee dishonesty. The service ranges from spot checks to a complete probe of the entire company.
NEAITD Executive Director William Boutwell said his association management company represents 10 trade organizations and employee theft is a constant concern among all the memberships.
A ``couple of dollars'' worth in slippage, shortages or pilfering can add up to thousands of lost dollars over a course of a year, he said.
