ATP, a division of Hy-Tech Machine Inc., has added 3/4- and 1-inch drive, 8-point impact sockets to its industrial tool line. The sockets have tapered noses for use in tight clearance situations or as ``track sockets'' and are available in bolt-clearance length or regular depth.

Also stocked in 1 1/4- through 2 1/2-inch sizes, the sockets are guaranteed for life against breakage.

Contact: ATP, a division of Hy-Tech Machine Inc., Dept. TB, 25 Leonberg Road, Cranberry Township, Pa. 16066; (800) 245-1148. Fax: (412) 772-0227.

Stempf Automotive Industries Inc. has developed a new caster/camber tool for use on the 1991 and newer Ford Crown Victoria, Mercury Marquis and Lincoln Town Car.

The $39.95 tool allows 360-degree rotation of the original equipment camber and caster without interference.

An outer tube holds the settings in place while the lock nuts are loosened or tightened through the center with a ratchet and extension.

Contact: Stempf Automotive Industries Inc., Dept. TB., 6100 Baker Road, Minnetonka, Minn. 55345-5909; (800) 328-4460 or (612) 931-9117. Fax: (800) 328-0240.

The Model FJ-40 Forklift Jack from Equipment Supply Co. (ESCO) is specially designed for low-lift clearance on forklifts.

The jack can be used for side, front or rear lift and in both high and low clearances.

Minimum clearance is 2 1/4 inches on the low lift side, which lifts to a height of 17 1/4 inches. Minimum lift on the high side, which will lift to a height of 28 1/4 inches, is 16 1/4 inches.

Special wheels allow the jack to lift in a straight vertical position, eliminating load shift.

The jack weighs 86 pounds and is 32 1/4 inches long and 10 inches wide, and can lift up to 5 tons.

    Contact: ESCO, Dept. TB, 15424 Flight Path Drive, Suite 2, Brooksville, Fla. 34609-0112; (800) 352-9852 or (904) 754-1117. Fax: (904) 754-4508.

Snap-on Inc. has developed a series of lightweight die grinders, and is offering a new 12-volt circuit tester.

The PT200 Series of die grinders has a thermally balanced air motor that delivers a more comfortable tool surface temperature, a rotatable air/exhaust deflector, a 10-position power/speed regulator that allows the user to choose settings from 10,000 rpm to 20,000 rpm and a 1/4-inch collet with a 1/8-inch adaptor.

They are available in red, orange or lime green.

Snap-on also is offering its 75th Anniversary model 12-volt circuit tester.

The EECT301A 12-Volt Circuit Tester can be plugged into a cigarette lighter or can be powered with an optional battery adaptor.

The unit features a 12-foot cord, storage container and a 3 1/2-inch blade.

    Contact: Snap-on Inc., Dept. TB, 8570 28th Ave., Kenosha, Wis. 53141-1410; (414) 656-5372.

Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co. has introduced three lightweight, ergonomically designed die grinders and a lightweight, low-vibration 3-inch cut-off tool, each designed to increase maneuver-ability and reduce operator fatigue.

The CP-872 die grinder has a free speed of 22,000 rpm and features a rear exhaust system. The CP-875 angle and CP-876 mini-straight die grinders have free speeds of 21,000 rpm and 28,000 rpm, respectively. Both are lightweight and designed for operation in confined areas.

All three are equipped with 1/4-inch and 6-millimeter collets. They also have built-in regulators that adjust speeds and lock-off throttles that help prevent accidental operation.

The CP-874 cut-off tool weighs 1 3/4 pounds and features a 1/2-horsepower motor with a maxi-mum free speed of 22,000 rpm. The tool also has a built-in regulator, rear exhaust system and lock-off throttle.

Contact: Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co., Dept. TB, 2200 Bleecker St., Utica, N.Y. 13501; (800) 367-2442 or (315) 792-2600.

The Premiere Job Cost program is priced at $595 for single-user programs and $795 for unlimited, multi-user systems.
