WASHINGTON-For its 75th year, the National Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association is conducting a nationwide recruitment campaign through Jan. 30 that involves its three field service offices and more than 100 independent wholesalers. Dealers and retreaders joining during the campaign will pay an introductory rate of $250 for a two-year membership. They also will get the NTDRA's Lug Nut Torque and Brake Specification wall charts, a 75th anniversary certificate, 5-in-1 Workplace Bulletin Board Chart, OSHA Handbook for Small Business, a 1995 convention seminar tape and the booklet, When OSHA Comes to Visit-Your Rights and Responsi-bilities.
For each new member recruit-ed, current NTDRA members will receive a $20 discount coupon for use with their next membership renewal. Those recruiting new members also will receive a flag flown over the U.S. Capitol, recognition in NTDRA Dealer News and a chance to win a set of convention audio tapes. Dealers signing up new members by Sept. 1 also earn a chance to win two tickets to the convention reception for Gen. Norman Schwarzkopf.
