OWATONNA, Minn.-James Wanberg, product manager, automotive electronics, with service tool and equipment manufacturer OTC, recently received the Founders Award from the Equipment and Tool Institute (ETI) for his work in the automotive aftermarket industry. Since its founding in 1947, ETI has presented the award to only six individuals whose contributions exemplify ETI's goals and mission.
Owatonna-based OTC said Mr. Wanberg's accomplishments include: involvement with the use and application of electronics in automotive diagnostics; chairman of the Performance Test Equipment Group; organizer and continued participant in Japanese Technical Weeks; an ETI board member and its technical chairman since 1991.
ETI is, according to OTC, the forum for common problems concerning equipment and tools for the automotive aftermarket.
