NTDRA moves up 'move-out'
WASHINGTON-The National Tire Dealers & Retreaders Association will implement several changes in its annual trade show to further assist participating exhibitors.
The association is preparing its 75th Anniversary Convention and Trade Show, Oct. 12-14, at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, and the most important change, according to the NTDRA, is making the exhibitor ``move out'' more convenient.
At the conclusion of this year's show, exhibitors will be able to take down their booths between the close of the show at 4 p.m. until midnight. Previously, the NTDRA show exhibitors began to move out the following day.
The NTDRA said it also will send its officers and staff to visit every exhibitor before and after the show, a practice that has proved useful in the past, and provide special promotional show materials for exhibitors to send to their customers.
In addition, the NTDRA is developing a cost-saving program to allow its exhibitors continuing on to the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week shows to expedite the shipment of their exhibits directly from New Orleans to Las Vegas.
