BRITYREX expands show floor
KENT, England-Having already signed up 90 percent of its trade show booth space, BRITYREX organizers have expanded into an extra hall at the Harrogate Exhibition Centre in North Yorkshire, England, to accommodate additional exhibitors.
The BRITYREX '95 exhibition and conference is Britain's only tire, retread and fast-fit accessories show. Sponsored by the Tyre Industry Council, it is slated for Feb. 21-23.
``We are naturally delighted that the show is all but sold out,'' said Clive Smith of Tyre Exhibitions, the show's organizer. ``However, the continuing level of exhibitor interest determined that we should make a commitment to an additional 1,000 square meters of space.''

Michaud to lead QTSA in '95
MONTREAL-L'Association des Specialistes du Pneu du Quebec (The Quebec Tire Specialists Association) re-elected Marc Michaud of Service de Pneus Michaud Ltd., Quebec City, as president during its convention, Aug. 26-27, in Montreal.
The association also installed Jacques Gibeault of Specialistes de Pneu (Quebec) Ltd., Montreal, and re-elected Leon Bourgeois of Pneus TIBO, Trois-Rivieres, as vice presidents. Denis Rouillier of Centre du Pneus Radial Laprairie, Laprairie, continues as treasurer.
The QTSA announced it is developing binders filled with information materials for its dealers that include tips and facts on such items as tire safety and automotive repair. The dealers in turn can distribute the information to their customers. The binders are expected to be ready for distribution before the end of the year.
The service tool is a follow-up to identification kits the association distributed to its members last year. That kit included posters and information cards, for display in customer waiting areas, that identified the dealerships as members of the QTSA.
