Yakima, Wash.-based Frank's Tire Store moved its outlet in that city into a larger building across the street in mid-June. The new store, which is more than twice the size of the old facility, has 10 automotive service bays and five bays for large trucks and farm equipment, said Kevin Frank, who co-owns the operation with his brothers, Larry, Ron and Dennis.
Mr. Frank said the company will lease the old location, which had housed Frank's Tire since 1961, while retaining a neighboring building as a warehouse.
Frank's Tire performs service and supplies passenger, light truck, truck and farm tires. The dealership, which is a member of the Northwest Tire Factory Group L.P., also operates locations in Selah, Wash., and Okanogan, Ore.

Both G&J outlets belong to the American Car Care Centers Inc. marketing program.

Toscalito Tire operates six other Goodyear outlets and one primarily Michelin store in California. The company is looking into converting a second location into a Tire Pros affiliate, Mr. Toscanini said.

The dealership's headquarters and a Bandag retread plant, with a capacity of about 88 tires a day, are located in Scarborough, Maine. New England Truck Tire is also operating outlets in Avon, Maine, and Hudson, N.H.
