NASHVILLE, Tenn.-To boost sales of its Blizzak snow-and-ice tire, Bridgestone/Firestone Inc. will launch a television, print and radio ad campaign this fall that touts the tire's winter handling ability and features favorable media comments. Print ads will appear in Road & Track and Car and Driver. Localized newspaper, radio and TV ads will be in ``key snow markets.''
The TV ads show the braking difference between a Blizzak and a ``standard all-season tire'' on the Olympic speed skating rink in Calgary, Alberta, BFS said.
The commercials will run during Good Morning America, Monday Night Football and 60 Minutes.
