Carquest to benefit from ESPN change
TARRYTOWN, N.Y.-Carquest Corp. said ESPN's decision to move its United States Auto Club sprint and midget car race program from Saturday to Thursday will provide ``greater exposure'' for the auto parts distribution chain.
Carquest sponsors on-board cameras used to televise portions of each race on ``Thursday Night Thunder,'' scheduled to air in its new time slot in July and August.
Carquest's logo appears during each on-board camera shot.
