OAKLAND, Calif.-Oliver Rubber Co. is making several staff changes in its sales and marketing departments, effective July 1, to increase the focus on customer contact, according to Larry J. Enders, company president and CEO. John ``Jack'' Woodland, executive vice president-sales and marketing, will become executive vice president-global business development, focusing on export sales, overseas licensee development and joint ventures, in addition to overseeing Pneuflex operations, government business development and trade association activities.
Vice President of General Products David Elliott will become vice president of marketing, responsible for corporate communications, customer service, dealer business development and sales education, advertising and sales promotions.
He will continue to direct equipment sales, field service, Flex-Mix custom rubber mixing and Mexican business development.
In his new position, Mr. Elliott will replace Richard E. Volk, who will become vice president of sales. Mr. Volk will be responsible for all North American field sales representatives, including fleet and intermodal sales, with an immediate focus on licensee and dealer growth and expansion.
He replaces Bob Miner, who left Oliver to pursue other interests.
