Dealers wrestling away market share
STILLWATER, Okla.-Four local Metro 25 TIRE dealers are trying to wrestle market share from their competitors through a joint sponsorship program.
Metro 25-Pioneer Tire, Howerton's Metro 25 TIRE, Metro 25-Harris 66 and Oaks Metro 25 are sponsoring the local radio broadcasts of the Oklahoma State University wrestling team's matches. The promotion features a ``Buy three, get one free'' slogan for tire sales.
The dealers, who are a part of Metro 25-Brown Distributing, said they began the program because of the popularity of Oklahoma collegiate wrestling.
