TIVOLI, Italy — Trelleborg Tire is introducing more than 15 new sizes for its Trelleborg TM1000 Progressive Traction tire range.
According to the tire brand, the products incorporate pressure field operations (PFO) technology, a "cutting-edge advancement" designed to address tire pressure challenges.
The company said the technology improves field performance by increasing load capacity at very low working speeds (5-15 km/h). Trelleborg said PFO technology excels in the most demanding field operations, enabling tires to perform under high torque and heavy load conditions while maintaining optimal efficiency.
The technology allows for a substantial reduction in tire pressure, the tire maker said, while carrying the same load, minimizing soil compaction.
This, in turn, ensures long-term agricultural sustainability, Trelleborg said, reinforcing the value of very high flexion technologies compared to standard tires.
Alessio Bucci, global product marketing director Trelleborg Tires, said the company is "committed to engineering solutions that not only enhance productivity but also promote sustainable farming practices The integration of PFO technology into our TM1000 Progressive Traction range represents an additional step forward in supporting agri-professionals with tires designed to handle the challenges of next-generation machinery and modern field operations."
Trelleborg Tire is a subsidiary of Yokohama TWS, whose North American headquarters is Wakefield, Mass.
