QUINCY, Ill. — Titan International Inc. is offering its sales training program — called Titan University Summit, or Titan U. — for dealers for the third straight year.
This year's program will have a conference-style format, allowing attendees to customize their learning experience through a combination of hands-on training and classroom session on both tires and wheels.
There are two sessions scheduled: Jan. 28-30 and Feb. 4-6, both being held at the Oakley Lindsay Convention Center in Quincy.
The program is open to Titan dealers and Titan Strong Seller Associate dealers. Those interested should contact his or her Titan territory sales manager to register.
"We listened to our attendees' desire to personalize their experience and ensure they're able to attend the sessions that are most beneficial to them," Paul Hawkins, senior vice president of aftermarket sales at Titan, said.
"Whether they're focused on agriculture, construction, forestry or all of the above — they'll have the opportunity to get the latest information and hands-on training to make them successful."
Sessions will examine:
- Priority product features and benefits;
- Selling strategies and competitive product positioning;
- Application-specific sessions for Ag, Construction, Forestry and OTR;
- Titan and industry keynote speakers;
- Tracks designed for entry-level all the way through advanced students; and
- Other topics beneficial to daily operations
Attendees may tour the company's wheel production plant. Graduates will earn a certified dealer salesperson spiff to incentivize their work.
