PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla.— TBC Corp. has redesigned its Harvest King Field Pro R-Gator and R-Gator ND tubeless irrigation tires with a "stronger-but-lighter-weight" construction.
TBC claims the new versions of these products feature design enhancements focused on reducing slippage and improving cleaning capabilities for an overall performance improvement over the previous design.
"We're … confident that the evolution of the Harvest King Field Pro line, as well as the price point, will be very appealing to dealers and their customers," Bill Dashiell, senior vice president of TBC Brands' Commercial Tire Division, said.
The new Field Pro lines use special anti-ozone compounds that are designed to protect the tire from the elements, TBC said, and feature a tread design that reduces crop and soil disturbance while limiting mud and debris buildup.
The tires — the successor to the Harvest King R-Gator and R-Gator ND — are available in sizes 11.2-24, 14.9-24 and 11.2-38 and can handle loads between 2,000-3,000 pounds. TBC sources the tires from Thailand.
