MONROVIA, Calif.— CMA LLC is releasing the Double Coin REM-2S, an all-weather/snow radial OTR tire designed for earthmover, loader and grader applications.
The company plans to debut the hard-surface tire at the ConExpo-Con/Agg construction show, to be held March 14-18 in Las Vegas.
According to CMA/Double Coin, the features of the year-round tire include:
- Heavy siping with offset blocks for traction;
- Advanced capability in snow, ice, gravel, and soft, sandy terrains;
- Balanced performance on wet and dry conditions; and
- Great snow removal, winter clean up and road clearing.
Tony Cresta, director of product development for CMA/Double Coin, said the REM-2S was designed to meet the challenges of winter and all-weather conditions.
"These specs, paired with a tire compound that is made to perform year-round, are designed to exceed expectations in all working conditions and will give the REM-2S excellent performance and long-life in all weather conditions," Cresta said.
