MONROVIA, Calif. — China Manufacturers Alliance L.L.C. (CMA) has added the Tianli brand of agricultural, forestry and construction tires to the portfolio of tires it distributes in North America.

Tianli-brand tires are produced by Tianjin United Tire & Rubber International Co. Ltd. (TUTRIC) of Tianjin, China.

CMA — the Monrovia-based subsidiary of China's Double Coin Holdings Ltd. — said that adding the Tianli brand will enhance its portfolio in product areas not offered by Double Coin, such as agriculture/forestry, bias construction and radial OTR above 25-inch rim diameters.

The Tianli agricultural tire line-up comprises radial and bias tractor tires, radial and bias flotation tires, implement tires and specialty R2 and R3 tires, CMA said, and includes IF/VF (increased flexion/very high flexion) technology-based products.

Tianli forestry tires include a complete line for skidders, harvesters, forwarders, as well as flotation forestry tires. In addition, the construction line includes industrial/lift, port, mining, skid steer, backhoe and OTR tires.

The Tianli brand covers sizes ranging from 16 to 57 inches in rim diameter.

"As a global manufacturer and distributor, we are continually providing our dealers and end-users with a diverse and wide array of application-specific tires — this is why we added the Tianli brand to our product offerings," Tim Phillips, vice president of marketing and operations for CMA, said.

"We are fully invested in this partnership as a manufacturer and marketer for Tianli tires."

CMA said it perceives the Tianli brand as a Tier 2 quality product that will be priced at Tier 3 levels. It will be offered both in container-load shipments and through CMA's warehousing network.

TUTRIC was founded in 1985 in a partnership with Canada's United Tire & Rubber Co. It suspended shipments of the Tianli brand to the U.S. a few years ago due the the elevated import duties imposed then on Chinese products, CMA said.

The new line will be complementary to the Double Coin, Warrior, Dynatrail, Dynacargo, Dynastar, Duraturn and Bluestar brands already handled by CMA.
