CHARLOTTE, N.C. — CEAT Specialty Tire Inc. is expanding its lineup of VF technology tires with the Spraymax VF, designed for self-propelled sprayers.
The CEAT Spraymax VF is engineered either to carry 40% more load than a standard radial or to carry the same load at 40% less pressure.
"The advantages of VF ag tires, including soil conservation and higher yield per acre, should not be the sole realm of the mega farming operations," CEAT President Ryan Loethen said.
"CEAT is delivering VF technology at an affordable price to small and mid-sized farms that are often multi-generational.
"At CEAT we believe you do not have to sacrifice modern VF technology due to the price of the tire. We offer the VF advantage at an honest price. Our cost per hour is among the industry's best; coupled with an aggressive entry-level price, our VF technology is available to farms of all sizes."
The Spraymax VF features:
• a stepped lug design for better grip and traction;
• a center tie bar for improved roadability;
• rounded shoulders for decreased soil and crop damage; and
• higher NSD (non-skid depth) for longer life.
CEAT Specialty Tire Inc. is the U.S. subsidiary of Indian tire maker CEAT Ltd.
