STOW, Ohio — Ascenso Tires North America (ATNA) has released the MDR 1000, a multi-purpose tire for applications like agriculture, construction and municipal heavy-duty projects.
The Stow-based subsidiary of India's Mahansaria Tyres said the new product offers "a unique tread design that not only guarantees exceptional road adherence but also thrives in winter conditions."
ATNA said the Ascenso MDR 1000 includes a reduction in tire noise, "even at high speeds on hard surfaces," and low rolling resistance that both "enhances fuel efficiency but also promotes eco-friendliness, making it a conscious choice for those who care about the environment."
The tire's multi-block tread design and wide footprint aimed to deliver grip on- and off-road, ATNA said. The MDR 1000 also incorporates an extra strong casing, reinforced with steel belts for puncture resistance.
