Telle Tire acquires KC Complete Auto Service

ST. LOUIS — Telle Tire & Auto Centers Inc. has expanded into the Kansas City, Mo., metro market with the acquisition of KC Complete Auto Service and its five stores.

Telle Tire said it will continue to operate the locations under the KC Complete name and build on the brand that has been created in the market.

Bridgeton, Mo.-based Telle Tire described the Kansas City market as "extremely fragmented," so the opportunity to purchase a dealership with a strong brand and reputation "will provide Telle Tire the foundation needed to continue to rapidly grow in the KC market."

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

KC Complete has grown throughout the last 15 years to five locations from one. Telle Tire also said the dealership's company values—long-term customer focus, employee engagement and vendor relationships, resulting in a strongly built team and organization—strategically align with its own.

KC Complete offers a range of automotive services along with tire sales and service.

Marco Gonzalez, who started with KC Complete when he was 18 and has worked his way up to director of operations, has been promoted to president – KC region, and will run all operations. He will report directly to Telle Tire President and CEO Aaron Telle.

Telle Tire now has 15 locations, including nine stores in the greater St. Louis metropolitan area and one in Jefferson City, Mo.

The acquisition is Telle Tire's fifth in the past two years.
