HEATH, Ohio — Sun Auto Tire & Service has acquired Larry Harer Inc., predominantly a Goodyear dealer with locations in Heath and Newark, Ohio.

This acquisition strengthens Sun Auto's footprint in central Ohio, following the acquisition of seven Boyd's Tire locations in the Columbus area in 2024.
Founded in 1978, Larry Harer Goodyear has operated in Licking County for 47 years. Newark is a city of 49,000-plus residents located 40 miles east of Columbus, while Heath is a community of 10,000 residents immediately south of Newark.
The company has been voted "Best Oil Change" and "Best Tire Shop" by readers of the Newark Advocate for several years and has developed a strong customer base, Sun Auto said.
