MESA, Ariz. — Sun Auto Tire & Service has acquired Greulich's Auto Repair, a 47-year-old independent auto repair business with 24 locations in the greater Phoenix metro area.
The acquisition expands Mesa-based Sun Auto Tire's footprint to 83 locations in Arizona and 510 outlets nationwide.
In addition, Sun Auto's Plaza Tire Service business opened three outlets — in Paragould, Ark.; Quincy, Ill.; and Evansville, Ind.

Sun Auto has added over 75 retail and warehouse facilities to its portfolio across the U.S. through both acquisition and organic development this year.

Other recent acquisitions and expansions include:
• Tire Max Total Car Care, with locations in Madison, Stokesdale, Sommerfield and High Point, N.C.
• Cecil & Sons Discount Tires, with three stores in the greater Tulsa, Okla., area; and
• Caliber Auto Care, with 33 locations throughout Texas, including 16 in Dallas, 13 in Houston and four in San Antonio
