FORT WAYNE, Ind. — McMahon's Best-One Tire has acquired Berger Auto Parts & Service Inc. with two locations in Fort Wayne.
Berger's locations, on Diebold Road and St. Joe Road, have been rebadged as McMahon's Best-One Tire & Auto Care.
"Dan Berger has built a successful business with Berger Auto and we are confident that we'll be able to continue the legacy he started over 40 years ago," McMahon's Best-One President Kim McMahon said.
This acquisition expands McMahon's Best-One operations to seven full-service tire and automotive facilities along with three commercial truck tire locations, a distribution center and a retread plant, all in Northeast Indiana.
The dealership said Berger Auto customers "will continue to see the same familiar faces and receive the same great service that they've been accustomed to."
McMahon's Best-One recently was named a finalist in Tire Business' Best Places to Work ranking and last year Kim McMahon received the Tire Business Tire Dealer Humanitarian of the Year award.
