GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. — Leeds West Groups (LWG) has expanded its network of Midas-branded stores again, acquiring another franchised location in the Denver metro area.
LWG, the investment fund that operates national automotive repair franchises, acquired a Midas location in Parker, Colo., a "home rule" municipality of about 58,000 located roughly 25 miles southeast of Denver. It has eight bays.
The previous owner and terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
LWG said it now operates nine Midas franchise locations in the Denver metro area. Greenwood Village-based LWG has 23 locations in the state, the most it owns in any one state.
LWG now operates 123 tire and automotive retail locations, including 39 Big O Tires and 84 Midas locations, across the U.S.
Derek Wessels recently was named CEO of the company, succeeding Judd Shader, whose new title is founder and executive chairman.
