COLOMBO, Sri Lanka — Specialty tire manufacturer Global Rubber Industries (Pvt.) Ltd. has strengthened its partnership with Australian passenger car, truck and agricultural tire distributor Magri Group.
With the Magri Group's acquisition of Italian tire distributor Donati Gomme, GRI said the partnership with the Magri Group bolsters its position in Italy.
According to GRI, the collaborations "confirm the group's commitment to the key sectors of its history and align with the objectives of exclusive national distribution, enhancing the entire product portfolio."
With combined resources, GRI said the partnership will enhance market coverage, improve customer service and strengthen both companies' positions in the Italian tire market.
GRI said the Magri Group is strategically focused on different approaches and expanding the customer base through exclusive domestic distribution agreements, enhancing the perception of its products in retail outlets.
"With a commitment to excellence and strategic partnerships, the (Magri) group continues to offer GRI tire solutions to its diverse customer base," GRI said.
GRI has a presence in more than 50 countries, producing high-grade tires for agriculture, construction and material handling vehicles.
