TUCSON, Ariz. — GB Auto Service Inc. has acquired three Houston-area ServiceOne Automotive locations, bringing the number of outlets operated by the company to 177.
All three locations, founded in 2003, are in Cypress, Texas. ServiceOne locations in the Austin, Texas, area are not part of the transaction, GB Auto noted.
Thus far this year, GB Auto has acquired more than 60 locations.
GB Auto Service CEO Frank Kneller said ServiceOne Automotive "is an established and trusted source for maintenance, repair and replacement" for Houston-area drivers.
"The addition of these three stores helps us strategically expand our presence in Houston, Cypress, and neighboring communities," he said.
Tucson-based GB Auto, a portfolio company of Greenbriar Equity Group L.P., now owns brands in five states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas and Oklahoma.
GB acquired Texas-based Reliable Automotive in November, and Tate Boys Tire & Service of Oklahoma in October. The company also purchased Phoenix-based Sun Devil Auto and Sun Auto Service in August.
"Throughout our industry, GB Auto Service has established an exceptional reputation for uncompromised integrity," according to a spokesperson for ServiceOne Automotive. "We know that these three stores will flourish under their leadership, as will the customers we have had the honor of servicing."
