FREDERICK, Md. — Dynamic Automotive, which is marking its 30th year in business, has acquired Sykesville Auto Service Inc., marking the dealership's seventh store in Maryland.
Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
The new location, an eight-bay structure in Sykesville, marks the dealership's first venture outside Frederick County into Carroll County. Sykesville is a town of about 4,500 residents located roughly 25 miles west of Baltimore.
"For 30 years, we've been proud to grow right here in Frederick County, building strong relationships with our customers, investing in our team members and giving back to the community," Co-founder Jose Bueso said.
Founded in 1995 by longtime automotive professionals Bueso and Lee Forman, Dynamic Automotive has grown from a business operating out of Bueso's garage.
"Opening our seventh location during our 30th anniversary year is truly remarkable, and it wouldn't be possible without our incredible team," Forman said. "Their dedication and growth have shaped who we are as a company. Seeing them reach personal and professional milestones is a powerful reminder of why we invest in our people."
The company said it is deeply involved in the local community, supporting schools, first responders and nonprofit organizations. It also provides an apprenticeship program to foster new skilled technicians.

Dynamic Automotive also operates stores in Frederick, New Market, Urbana, Libertytown, Emmitsburg and Mount Airy.
Sykesville Auto Service has been in business for over 50 years, according to a posting by the local Better Business Bureau.
