CLEBURNE, Texas — 4M Parts Warehouse has acquired 10 Auto Plus locations, including nine retail store locations and one distribution center in Texas.

Three of the stores and the distribution center are in the Dallas area; two are in the Lubbock area; and one each in Fort Worth, Wichita Falls and Vernon.

The locations will be rebranded as Bumper to Bumper Parts Stores and will fit the existing footprint of 4M Parts Warehouse, based out of Cleburne.

The acquisition closed on May 31 for an undisclosed price.

"We are excited to bring these new stores into the 4M fold," 4M Parts President and CEO Lanny Martindale said.

"Most of these locations exist in areas our team already travels through and a few that make perfect sense as the 'next steps' in our service area. It came together nicely for our organization, and these new locations will only enhance the service we are able to provide to our existing customers and our new ones."

4M said it is bringing on board the 90-plus former Auto Plus employees at the locations.

"So much credit to those folks working at these 10 locations. We are delighted to be bringing them on and we know that their expertise, commitment to service, and providing the best possible experience to our customers is paramount," Martindale said.

The addition of the 10 acquired locations brings 4M Parts' total corporate-owned store count to 20, with an additional 57 independent jobber locations within Texas and Oklahoma.

4M Parts Warehouse said it will now operate under both the Auto Value and Bumper to Bumper brands.
