      AKRON — Tire manufacturing in North America is due for a sizable boost over the coming few months as Goodyear, Hankook Tire America Corp. and Giti Tire Group commission commercial-scale production at new factories in Mexico and the U.S.

    • Hankook, Nokian make sustainability list

      NEW YORK Hankook Tire Co. Ltd. and Nokian Tyres Inc. have been selected for the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), an annual sustainability assessment of large publicly traded companies by the Swiss RobecoSAM.

    • Triangle Tire USA to increase prices

      FRANKLIN, Tenn. — Citing increase raw material costs, Triangle Tire USA will increase prices as much as 6 percent. The increase will go into effect on all its products sold in the U.S., effective Oct. 1.

    • Hankook debuts first American-made tire line

      CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Hankook Tire America Corp. has introduced the Kinergy PT (H737), a premium touring all-season tire that is the first product made exclusively at the company's new plant in Clarksville.

      AKRON — Goodyear has made two leadership changes in its consumer business division, promoting Mike Dwyer to chief marketing officer and Mike Dauberman to chief digital officer.

    • Love's agrees to purchase Speedco from Bridgestone

      OKLAHOMA CITY — Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. continues to add to its portfolio, reaching an agreement to purchase Speedco Inc., a Bridgestone Americas Inc. commercial tire and service lube business.
