POWAY, Calif. (Aug. 27, 2014) — Mitchell Repair Information Co. L.L.C.’s Mitchell 1 brand has further enhanced its ProDemand repair, diagnostic and maintenance software.
The upgrade includes new expert-based information, according to the company, and expanded features meant to help auto service professionals work faster and more accurately.
In 2013, Mitchell 1 introduced the 1Search feature, which integrates detailed OEM information provided in ProDemand with real-world content from SureTrack, ProDemand’s diagnostic module. With the newest update, the firm said every lookup in ProDemand now delivers:
- More SureTrack “Real Fixes” generated from the growing database of tips and insight from successfully completed repairs;
- More common replaced parts graphs covering a broader range of code, component and symptom lookups;
- Enhanced component test information with connector views to help confirm diagnosis; and
- Scope waveforms and data graphs, served up automatically to provide a point of reference for verifying faulty parts.
“We are continuously adding new features and data to our software solutions in order to bring customers more value,” said Gary Hixson, market manager, ProDemand. “Our ProDemand team has been especially busy this year, with a focus on improving our expert-based information from SureTrack.
“With our most recent product release, we can now bring even more real-world information to technicians, along with all the OEM data, giving them a head start when diagnosing and repairing vehicles.”
