AKRON (Aug. 11, 2014) — With the International Tire Exhibition & Conference (ITEC) for tire dealers and auto service professionals right around the corner, online registration is still available.
ITEC will take place Aug. 20-22 at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel and Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. It will present seminars covering a range of topics and issues in the tire and auto repair industry, including servicing tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS), high-performance tires and OTR/farm tires.
The cost to attend ITEC is $65 for three days, covering 45 seminars, nine panel presentations, two roundtable sessions and a trade show featuring tire and automotive industry exhibitors.
Matt Winslow, director of speakers and content for the Automotive Training Institute (ATI), will deliver the keynote address on “How to Survive & Thrive in the Tire Business.” He will discuss what it will take to survive and grow in the tire business over the next 10 years, including how to create a competitive advantage to keep shop bays full and profits rolling in.
Mr. Winslow also will present a separate seminar on “Effective Succession Planning for a Secure Retirement” during the ITEC show.
