TWINSBURG, Ohio (July 30, 2014) — Battery accessories maker CTEK Power Inc. has released the first two in a series of 10 educational articles on battery technology for consumers.
The series is designed to help take the mystery out of batteries, battery chargers and battery maintenance, Twinsburg-based CTEK said.
The first article—“Why Do Vehicles Have Batteries?”—helps consumers understand all the functions that a battery performs. The second article answers the question, “How Do Batteries Work?” CTEK said the third article will deal with “Different Types of Batteries.”
“Until they are stranded with a malfunctioning battery, many consumers do not realize how critical batteries are to the electrical system in their vehicle,” said Matt Ingram, regional sales manager for CTEK. “Part of our objective in publishing these articles is to help drivers understand the advantages of using a state-of-the art battery charger and maintainer like the units that CTEK manufactures, and how it can extend the life of their battery and help keep them on the road.”
CTEK’s educational articles are available as downloadable PDF files. Persons interested in receiving future articles can sign up for the company’s newsletter and will be automatically notified when the next article is available.
The company makes a range of new generation high-performance battery chargers and accessories and, according to CTEK, sells more than 4 million chargers in over 60 countries worldwide.
