Performance Plus Tire to host Cruise Night

LONG BEACH, Calif. (July 14, 2014) — Performance Plus Tire & Auto is hosting its 2014 Cruise Night on July 19, complete with a variety of activities including a free barbeque, live music, raffles and hot cars.

Long Beach-based Performance Plus said the family-friendly event will run from 5-9 p.m. on July 19. Cruise participation is open to all modified vehicles: hot rods, originals, customs, muscle cars, low riders, class trucks, etc. Awards will be given to the top five vehicles. Registration is $20 per vehicle, with early registration beginning at 4 p.m.

All proceeds from the event will go toward Performance Plus’ fall food drive, which supports local charities.

Sponsors of the event include: Coker Tire Co., B&G RodWorks, American Racing Equipment Inc., Ultra Custom Wheels, Raceline Performance Wheels and U.S.  Mags Wheels Inc.

Titan International and the United Steelworkers union have petitioned the U.S. International Trade Commission and U.S. Department of Commerce seeking relief from OTR tire imports from China, India and Sri Lanka. What’s your opinion?
