AMHERST, N.H. (June 26, 2014) — WECnology L.L.C. has added Top Dog Solutions Inc., a business analytics and reporting solutions provider, as its newest “WECnologist.”
Top Dog has been providing business analytics tools to the automotive aftermarket since 2003, WECnology said.
“Tire dealers have vast amounts of business data stored in their computer systems. Their challenge has always been the ability to get at that data in a timely, economic and meaningful way to make key strategic business decisions,” said Wayne Croswell, president of Amherst-based WECnology.
“Top Dog has perfected a process to mine the data out of the dealers’ business systems, regardless of the POS system and present it to decision makers in an extremely useful manner. We are confident in declaring Top Dog ‘Best-of-Breed’ in business analytics.”
Top Dog Solutions extracts a dealer’s data from its business systems and develops “a sophisticated data model,” said Eric Levine, president of Top Dog.
The data is then put into Microsoft’s Excel program for analysis.
“Excel provides the dealer with an easy-to-navigate interface with virtually no training,” he added.
“They can analyze information at the 20,000 foot level looking for trends or potential problems. Then, with a few clicks of the mouse, drill down to the details to discover where the problem lies.”
