LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. (May 22, 2014) — Snap-on Inc.’s Snap-on Diagnostics unit is offering up to 10 percent off the list price of its new Software Upgrade 14.2 in a promotion running through June 27.
The promotion, which is available to customers in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, applies to all Snap-on diagnostic software, the firm said.
The Snap-on Software Upgrade 14.2 includes 37,100 new and enhanced codes, tests, tips and data. According to Snap-on, it features 10,400 new Fast-Track Troubleshooter tips and timesavers and more than 11,400 guided component tests.
“With this special offer, automotive repair shops can get the very best value on Software Upgrade 14.2, which provides the most powerful diagnostics in the industry to service nearly any vehicle that rolls into the bay,” said Leian Wunderlich, marketing manager for Snap-on.
Highlights of Software Upgrade 14.2 include one-touch full-vehicle code scan for automated checks on many CAN modules for most vehicle manufacturers, along with new and enhanced coverage for Asian and domestic vehicle makes. Snap-on’s optional European coverage includes Porsche coverage for 2003-2013 models, along with enhanced coverage for 10 other European makes.
